My Coaching Story

Competitive. Caring. Certified.

My coaching story starts at a young age. I began playing sports as early as possible, and I joined every team imaginable. Growing up, I played football, basketball, soccer, baseball, ran cross-country and track, and wrestled. It did not take me long to realize the importance of the mind on things like performance and sport satisfaction. But just because I could see the connection didn't mean I understood it. My athletic career came to an end with me having experienced great success and great failure. I was beginning to understand that my mind could be my best ally or my worst enemy. This led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology. During my college years, I also began gaining coaching experience with youth and high school wrestlers. After finishing my degrees in 2019, I jumped right into the applied work of mental performance coaching. I created a private practice in New Orleans, LA, and started working with local high school, amateur, and professional athletes. My practice has helped me immensely to continue to grow and develop as a coach. I hope to continue that journey of growth with you!
